In 1605 a man called Guy Fawkes was part of a plan to blow up the English parliament, but he was discovered and didn't succeed. To celebrate this day, people usually go to a fireworks display and burn a model of Guy Fawkes on a big fire!

In my city we celebrate the day of New Year with fireworks. After to eat the grappes we go to the windows to see the fireworks... It is very funny!!!!
