Vaxholm fortress is situated in Stockholms archipelago.
It was built in the 1500's by Svante Nilsson sture.
In 1839 the king Gustav Vasa built a stone tower and filled the narrow passage of oxdjupet whit stones.
Now the Vaxholm fortress have a hotel and restuarant, an a lot of activities.
You can also see theaters and concerts there.
You can go there by buss or boat.
