Hannah: OK, Jamie, let’s do this online safety quiz. Ready to start?
Jamie: Sure! I bet it’s easy. I’ll know all the answers.
Hannah: We’ll see. OK, number one. Someone you know sends you a message saying horrible things about someone in your class. What do you do? A: Agree – you don’t like that person anyway. B: Delete the message. Or C: Take a screenshot and show it to an adult you trust.
Jamie: I think I’d just delete the message, but I suppose you should show it to an adult.
Hannah: Yeah. If we see cyberbullying, we need to tell someone.
Jamie: Good point. OK, so the answer is C. Take a screenshot and show it to an adult you trust.
Hannah: Yes! C’s the right answer. Tell an adult like your mum, dad or teacher.
Jamie: OK, let’s go to the next question.
Hannah: Your turn.
Jamie: Question two. You can’t go up a level on a video game, but your friend says they can do it for you if you give them your password. Should you give it to them? A: No, definitely not. You should never share passwords. B: Yes, if they promise not to use the password again. Or C: Yes, it’s just a game, it’s no big deal.
Hannah: What do you think, Jamie?
Jamie: Oh, I’ve already given Noah my password to help me go up a level – I just couldn’t do it myself!
Hannah: Jamie! You should never, ever give anyone your password!
Jamie: I guess you’re right … again.
Hannah: So, we agree, the answer’s A.
Jamie: A. That’s the right answer. I guess I’d better change my password when I get home.
Hannah: Make sure you do! OK, question number three. You get an email saying you’ve won a prize …
