This week is National Tree Week in the UK and to celebrate children are planting trees to help save the environment. What can you do to help save the environment? Do you know any names for trees in English? The most common tree in England is the sycamore. What's the most common tree in your country?

We should plant more trees to save our environment. I know the names of all the trees in English. My favourite tree is the banyan tree because i like to swing on its hanging roots and branches. Even my friends, we have swinging competitions.

I know names of  trees in English  such as oak tree,Australian oak etc..........
In Sri lanka the most common tree is Na-tree

In Greece we dont plan trees. One and only time that we plan trees was on the P.E. lesson where mr. George was ill and we plan trees!

my favourite tree is Christmas tree too.i always decorate it before Christmas so i can enjoy it for a long period of time and i always decorate it really nicely, not to colorful, but nice.

My favourite tree is a palm tree. It makes me think of being on holiday. I also have a fruit tree in my garden. It's a fig tree and I love eating fresh figs from it.

My favourite tree is a cherry tree that I have in my garden. In the spring it has beautiful pink flowers, and then in the summer it has delicious cherries. We have to be quick, to pick the cherries before the birds eat them! I love my cherry tree!
