Russian flag (I live in Russia )))) is striped. The stripe, which is on the top of the flag is white; the next stripe is blue and the last stripe is red.
I don't remember what do blue and read colors simbolise, but I know that white means cleanness.
 
 
 
P.S.: I like our flag very much, but I think that  the most beautiful flag is English!=)=)
