In 1605 a man called Guy Fawkes was part of a plan to blow up the English parliament, but he was discovered and didn't succeed. To celebrate this day, people usually go to a fireworks display and burn a model of Guy Fawkes on a big fire!

Hey you guys, in my country the fireworks used to celebrate in happily events, thanks for your sharing :)

In my country, we celebrate Quang Trung King's victory at 5/1 Lunar calender. Everyone go to Quang Trung's statue to memorize him.

In Poland we celebrate new years eve with fireworks.

i love fireworks

In my city we celbrate the Children Day with fireworks, and concerts by children.

we have "may fire" in Sweden and we do it fore frighten witches and troll.

 On bonfire night the fireworks exploded everywhere. one  shot  right   across  the  sky  while  I  watched  from  my  window.The  fireworks  looked  like  stars.
